But I assure you, there is a very essential and life giving message behind those words; a message I believe I have been called and commission to share with you. Imagine dying with nothing to leave for your children because you simple lived trying to put food on the table instead of putting a million dollar idea to work. Imagine dying having never made the changes that you told yourself you would make time and time again. This book is designed to enlighten you to the work that must be done in order to see the change that you seek. Along this walk you will be challenged, you will be inspired, but most importantly you will be equip to make necessary changes in your life! Remember this statement: where and how you live is usually where and how you die. The book of Matthew, chapter 8, tells the story of a disciple who wanted to follow Jesus - but he asked if he could first go and bury his father. Jesus replies by telling the disciple to follow him (Jesus) now and to let the dead bury the dead. Was Jesus trying to be insensitive to the concerns of this disciple Not at all; he was simply trying to convey the importance and urgency associate with change. The disciple wanted to linger where he was and deal in death, but Jesus is saying leave this alone now and follow me to a greater life. Jesus tells the disciple to let the dead bury the dead. He was telling the disciple to let those who were dead spiritually bury the one who had died naturally. These people were considered dead because they had not or would not peruse changing their lives. They had no desire to achieve Gods plan or submit to his will. This way of thinking not only robbed them of living a promised and purposed life, but their lack of change robbed them of even being categorized as living. This scripture lets us know one very important thing; you dont have to be dead to be considered dead. This Scripture ties directly to the purpose of this book. Not to scare you or to condemn you, but to enlighten you to the fact that death is not just a onetime occurrence but it can also become a life style. If you are not pursuing changes that will cause you to live a life of fulfillment and promise, God himself could one day consider you to be dead, even with breath in your lungs and movement in your limbs. My friend, I dont want that for you. I want you to live the life that you see in your spirit. I want you to be the person that you were born to be and to have all that your potential has the ability to gain for you! In order to get there you are going to have to make changes. It wont be easy, but nothing worth having ever is. The good news is you are not alone. I am right here with you, and most importantly God is in your corner. Hes behind you, hes on either side of you, and hes walking this path with you - protecting you as you go. Hes even standing at the end of this road, cheering you on to victory, and waiting in anticipation for you to cross the finish line! There are a lot of changes to be made in your life and even more blessings to be gained in your life. Lets make those changes and get those blessings, together! Here we go!
